Two Months Old

We cannot believe it has been two months already! Evelyn has gotten so big and strong! She is working to hold up her head and keep it steady, but it is still a work in progress. She has been doing tummy time a few times a day to work on strengthening her arms, legs, and neck. She does not like it very much, but I am sure she will be super happy when she is able to crawl. She is also "talking" a lot! She totally gets into "Old McDonald" (especially the part that goes E I E I O). Too cute. She makes a sound that sounds like "owl", so naturally McDonald has an owl on his farm!

She had her two month check up this week. She is weighing in at 10 pounds 15.5 ounces and measuring 22 1/2" long. So, she has not gotten any taller. This is a good thing because she has almost grown out of her clothes for her age and she was super long for her age at the last visit.

In the onsie Grandma Otterbourg made for her.

She is still letting us sleep well at night, only getting up once, if at all. We have just increased her bottle to 4 ounces, so we will see if that makes a difference.

I have met another mom at church and we have hung out a couple of times. It is good to meet other moms and share experiences and advice (and get out of the house!).

Speaking of houses, we are moving in to our FIRST HOUSE next weekend! I will post pictures of the nursery when it is all painted and decorated.

I still have not found daycare. There is a lot of pressure from work for me to return. I have been working about 10- 15 hours a week from home. Ordinarily, this would be a good break from taking care of Evelyn and doing chores and errands, but with the up coming move it is a lot to juggle.

Here is Miss Evelyn on Valentine's Day! Yes, I changed her right after taking this picture when I saw she had pooped up the side of her outfit! I think she just wanted to be changed into her dinner outfit!
