We went to Bob's Corn in Woodinville to pick out a pumpkin and enjoy some fall activities. Unfortunately, it was very rainy so our visit was a little short.
Here, Evelyn is getting ready to go!
She got to see chickens and roosters.
... and goats
... and a horse!
Next, we picked out the perfect pumpkin.
To get to and from the pumpkin fields, we took a hay ride pulled by a big tractor.
Hot cocoa helped keep us warm!
Ah, back home to get warm.
Evelyn called it an early night, so she missed out on the pumpkin carving this year. Next year she can help pick out the pattern and play with the pumpkin guts!
Here are two tiny pumpkins that Evelyn picked out!
And finally, Halloween Day!
Here is a picture of Evelyn, Olivia (aka Dino!), Nate, and the pumpkin Nate carved. It was a little hard getting everyone to hold still and look good...
After the photo shoot at home, we go to church for a lot of fun! First, there is pumpkin decoration, story time, and songs.
But Evelyn was a little sleepy...
Here is Nate as a nerd with his decorated trunk.
Here we all are enjoying the trunk or treating and all the fun costumes!
Evelyn reached in to the candy bowl when we were not looking and got a little candy bar. She chewed through the rapper and ate most of it! You can see the ring of chocolate around her mouth!
It was a great first Halloween! We will se how she sleeps tonight with all the excitement and chocolate!
