Week 21

I would like to start off by apologizing for missing last week's blog. I thought I did it, but it was only in my mind.

This week, TIF will grow to 7 inches and 11 ounces! So big! He or she will learn to swallow this week (I won't get into the details), so what I eat will be a big life changer for him or her. He or she will be able to taste the things that I eat. So, it is really important for me to eat healthy so the baby will like healthy foods. Also, its arms and legs are in proportion and cartilage will be turning into bone. Bone. That is really weird to me. Something soft and squishy inside me is ok, but something with bone is just too... hard? It is really turning into a human.

Also this week, on Thursday, we will go in for the ultrasound. Nate and I have been really excited to see the baby and find out the sex! But also, we are a little nervous about finding something wrong. More than a boy or girl, we are hoping to find a healthy little baby. I will try to remember to post the sex on Thursday night.
