One whole month old!

Evelyn is now a whole month old! She is changing so quickly; growing, getting stronger and smarter. She is starting to be able to focus her eyes longer on us, which is helping her to communicate with us. We have "conversations" where we imitate the sounds she makes. We also make faces to see if she can imitate them.

Evelyn hit a milestone last night as she SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!! We could not believe it! Especially as she has been going through a fussy period. We gave her a bath with Johnson and Johnson bedtime soap, then a little massage with baby lotion. This, of course, after eating a full bottle.

She had her checkup a few days ago. She is now 9 pounds 6 ounces and 22 1/2 inches tall. She is the appropriate weight for her age, but a little slender for her height. I wonder where she gets that...? :)
